That's a great mono composition Jack. I very much like the ratio of land to sky. Adds a sort of majesty for me.

Thanks John, I went through a number of crops before I was happy, same with the mono conversion. I will admit that I was trying for an Ansel Adams influenced kind of an image. Don't know if I made it or not but I'm satisfied the final result.

I once shot a bright sky studded with white clouds through window screen of glass; i felt the clouds in this image looks almost like that; just a thought

Nandakumar, this was a bit of a crop from the original so that may be why.
