    Last Street Photo From Hungary

I'm sure it's not but to those who either don't like, don't see the point, don't bother capturing SP, it's no longer allowed in the country of Hungary. Doesn't mean you can't continue to shoot, just limits the opportunities; if I understand the bylaws correctly you must ask permission prior to shooting. I shot this in 2013 and I believe the restriction was in place at the time, didn't know about it until my return home.

    John,
I believe the same is true in France; taking street photos without the subjects' permission is not allowed.
Another reason I love living in Canada.

John...I love this shot. Limitations are a shame. That is one of the reasons I like living here in the US and its Constitution spells exactly what we are allowed (and not). And oh btw, the bright spot on the lady's shoulder and also near her left breast is a bit too bright, needs toning down a bit...

You might want to check up on recent shooting laws in the US. The new Homeland Security laws tend to get some officers a bit testy if they think you are photographing for the purpose of casing a prospective target. Be careful not to shoot 10 or 20 images of the exterior of the Capitol Building or any other federal facility from different angles or locations as you might find yourself up to your ears in very inquisitive feds. The laws are meant to protect the buildings, but the laws are also there to protect your individual rights.

Nice shot, John. Was the woman part of the performance?

    Izzie,

Thanks for the comments and critique, I usually check my B/W points as a last step; I think I added a bit more clarity on the previous post. This one should be toned down a bit.

    Hi Sergio,

She was a tourist who got roped into the performance. Thanks for commenting.
