Hi Dicky....thank you, of all the other colours of the pansies, I liked this one the best, for the soft colour......

Yes, we had a long / cold / wet winter, and to top it off, sort of saying good bye, managed to give me some days ago quite a nasty flu feeling better by now...... for so many years I never had a flu, but this nasty winter gave it to me....so good riddance....
At least you had warmer temperatures........

Stone the crows Griddi - you have been in the wars! We get a Flu jab every year now and haven't had one in ten years. I hope your back has come good again, I put mine out last week hacking out an aging tree with a mattock. I think I'll use dynamite next time. Remember when you could buy it in the local hardware store? I still remember watching a demo by a local at Coober Pedy mining opal and wondering how long he would live.

We'll be in Oz for the first time in a few weeks (NSW, South Australia and Western Australia). I hope the cold wet winter is long gone by then.

Dicky, I am getting a Flu injection every year too, and like you had not for many years a flu either, expect now, and I had a Flu jab in May .......

My back is sort of back to * normal * that is painful from time to time, painful each time I vacuuming, had rays done some weeks ago, which showed wear and tear of the spine plus arthritis, so one has just keep up with it, for the osteo in the knee I got about 10 days ago a cortisone injection, needs a time to build up, according to Doctor, but I am hoping with the warmer weather hopeful on the way, this will help too .......

Dicky, I hope you will feel better quickly, although these s....y things can last for a long time, even more is one is older........

Good you are coming to visit ......I live in South Australia by the way......I promise you will love Australia, everybody do who come to visit ......the weather will be warmer by then , but actually very probably you would not have our recent winter found cold, it was just for us here, for you , coming from England our winter would be more like an English Autumn day to you ......

Maurice......I am waiting for Spring too, mostly it warms up here quickly.......and then with more of the warmer weather....getting hotter....then we complain it is to hot, and not enough rain .......this merry go round happens every year .....which shows....nothing is perfect, and there is always something to complain of ......
