They are all nice but the last one really made me stop. Great composition and the processing really makes it.
I agree with Terri about the last one. But the skies in the 3rd and 4th are stunning. Have you considered one of them in b&w, Simon.
All very nice images and I like the PP work![]()
Thanks, Greg. I've kinda tried b&w; in fact, a couple of the images have a b&w layer at 40% opacity on top of them (for that desaturated look). However, I must confess, I've been struggling with rendering in full b&w — I'm not finding a happy balance of white points and black points, so I'm ending up with something that either has no mid-tones or is too grey. I'll keep working at it, but, in the meantime, here's one of my attempts:
Great series, i agree with Greg, stunning skies.
Excellent images![]()
#1 and 6. Brill.
I particularly liked #3 and #4, with the contrast between the sky and the beach. This would be spoiled with a B&W conversion.
John
Nice series, I would consider rotating the selections, I would move #8 somewhere in front of the series and finish off strong with one of the others.
Thanks, John. The series is actually about 40 pics. I don't post anywhere except here and Facebook, but if I do set up a website sometime I'll have to make some tough decisions about what and how to arrange the pics. An odd things is that I tend to prefer pics that nobody else does, and vice versa.
