    St. Ninian's Cathedral, Perth

I took these last month at a open day at the cathedral.
The first image is the West wing the second is the East wing and the third is a small (but very high) ante room just off the alter.
I was going to post some images of stained glass from an Arts and Craft house in the next street to me, but tinypic is playing up,so I can't upload them.
    Better seen in litebox
    C&C welcome

The first one needs a bit of darkening a little bit from halfway down to even up the exposure, Gary...
In #2, I would rather the lady wasn't there because your topic are the stain-glass windows, maybe the elaborate altar and its colourful robes should be another shot? My....my, that is quite an intricate work of art in front of the window!!! I'd love to see that one in a zoomed in version (bigger, wider?) Being a recovering Catholic, I like these kinds of works of art...
#3 is my favourite of all here in this series -- nice exposed but I think this is heavily cropped. You can see the noise it generated in the crop. Since you are using Photoshop CC as your editor, look for a tutorial in noise reduction in Camera Raw. It works.

Nicely done. Not easy shooting inside a church as the lighting it always poor.

Church interiors are tough places to shoot particularly since tripods are typically forbidden. I like the last shot best because the stained glass stands out as the main subject.

As requested Izzie, the lady has gone,#2.
#3 was not cropped much, only a very little at each side, I used the transform to in CR filter to straighten and align the image.
I tried the noise reduction CR and it did reduce the noise, but it appeared to reduce the sharpness slightly.

Cheers Maurice, #3 there was only one small electric light and the light coming thru the stained glass windows.

    Thanks for your comments, Dan.
That's the first time I have shot church stained glass windows, I prefer shooting Arts and Craft stained glass,

Did you touch the sharpening on the same page as the reduced noise? the one on top of the page?

Do you have Nik's software? Like many others, I have mine when I have to pay for it. When I installed it in my DIL's computer, it beame free. It is still free and is a very good software for conversion. If you do have it, use Viveza 2's structure. If you do not have it, apart from using the sharpening option of Camera Raw, try to use the Clarity (Clarify) on the basic editing. It is the top option on the lower portion of Camera Raw. Watch your image as you push that slider to the right, use only a slight push.

If you use Nik's Viveza, stay away from the Clarity of Camera Raw. Just use structure in Viveza.

    Thanks Izzie for your advice.
I just downloaded Nik software on Tuesday past, only tried sharpen Pro 3 so far on a couple images. So far I pretty impressed with the sharpening tool.

Very nice shots. I particularly like #1 because of the symmetry. In #1 and #2 you have a nice balance between the window and the interior.

Thanks John, I did cheat a bit with the symmetry on #1.
If you look at the bottom four arches, the right hand two arches and picture are the same as the left hand arches and picture . I had to clone stamp the RH arches side over to the LH due to a pile of plastic chairs in the original image.

Well...you did a very good job of cloning there -- I did not notice it either.
