I really like photos displaying patterns and this one is both nice and very different from any that I remember seeing. Consider converting to monochrome to make the patterns stand out perhaps even more.

Very nice; very vertical too ; is this two separate buildings? How the white border appears transparent in the bottom part of the building on the left side?

It is two buildings in the same condo complex. Working on the Monochrome now but it is complex due to the subtlety of the color shifts on the shadows. I'm trying to break down each color into a range of tone values, building from the base up. Fun, but tedious.

You did not mention the transparency there

It is not really a transparency in the sense of how you are seeing it; it is the cornice piece as it wraps around the edge of the building and then the shadow from the backside balconies falls across it making it appear to have transparency. See :-)

Nice shot, Chris, I like shadow work. I wish there had been just one thing different about one of the balconies to interrupt the repetition. A human figure, perhaps leaning over one of the railings. I look forward to your b&w version.

I was hoping for a shadow figure on the railings...alas.
