Watkins Glen Gorge Hike In Fall

    Hi Everybody,

Sarah has never been to Watkins Glen before since she's originally from Chicago. We made a trip there today and the fall colors were gorgeous. Definitely the best weekend to go since it was cool out today and not very windy. It was overcast but I took the best pictures I could. These were my favorites. Enjoy!

Couple kissing on the bridge....didn't plan it either!

I love that area, and the pics are beautiful! I am envious that I missed it this year!

I need to fess up. All the leaves were mostly yellow. I Photoshopped the reds, oranges and brighter colors to give the photos the super fall look.

And I love those red ones in "Another Bridge"... you should have just kept quiet about your prowess in editing... I wish I can change some part of my life and make it more colourful, but then it will be a lie... I have what I experienced because I chose to have it. Anyway, I enjoyed walking through with you and your Sarah in this journey. All Good shots, but #1 needs a little bit of straightening, don't you think?

I guess it could use some straightening. The bridge is going slightly away from me in this photo so maybe it's just an illusion.

Nice series! I have not been to Watkins Glen since I was about 10 or so, so, let me see...that would be more than 50 years ago?

Still, your images evoked lots of memories.

Beautiful series, colours and detail. Pity about that guy spoiling the view in No7

Hey now, I think he is the reason the photo looks good to begin with!

That was the obligatory "I was there shot." That being said it did not happen if you do not have one of these in your series.

Haha completely agree. Since I'm the one taking all the pictures on our trips, everyone just assumes Sarah is well traveled and the pictures happened by magic.
