    A play on Impressionism

I spotted this couple just sitting there quietly. The surroundings, to my mind anyway, was just right for a somewhat different approach. C&C most welcome.

This is only my personal preference, I would clone out the red bench (?) at the RH side of the man's hat and the bench with the people to the LH side of lady. My eyes are drawn to them.
    Nice image all the same.

    Ole,
    Very nice picture.
I agree with Gary's suggestions, but would also suggest that you eliminate the modern buildings up at the top right side of the frame (perhaps by cloning over them with foliage) as they seem to add a jarring urban element to an otherwise idyllic rural scene.

I agree with Gary and Robert. I think that a nice picture would be improved into a really nice one...

Great imagination, if it was my shot I would leave it alone.

The muted colors are very appealing. Though I agree about eliminating the red bench because of how it "grows" out of the man's head, I would leave the buildings in place unless you want to depict a completely rural scene for whatever reason. For me, the buildings in the distance nicely suggest that perhaps the two people on the bench live in the city, are getting as far away from it as possible, yet are still being reminded of it.

Also consider eliminating the brown patch of dirt in the lower left corner.

I like it the way it is...including the building...but I will clone out the red car...

Now this looks better. The red bench is the scene breaker here...and the two people looking ahead seems to be experiencing a calming experience just watching the scene before them. Well done!
