    Thorp Perrow reflection

I've not posted any images here for a while, though I have been popping in and commenting occasionally. I took a trip to this arboretum recently. Whilst it was very busy as they had a spooky Halloween trail for the children, this scene is looking towards a part of the site that isn't open to the public which; meant I didn't have to remove any errant children .

Stunning colors though appearing very natural. Nice composition also!

A good example of where straight up the middle works Peter. Lovely peaceful scene well captured. Only thought is that it would have been worth avoiding the foliage bottom left but that's a minor point.

I agree with the basic assessment, but not the caveat. I find that the vegetation at the bottom adds to the context. It tells me that the image was taken from the near bank, not the middle of the lake.

John, if Peter took that image in the middle of the lake, he would have been wet! (Sorry I can't help that...too early in the morning, I think...)

Anyway, very nice shot, Peter...very calming without any kids running around. The reflections are very smooth too. I like the composition. Nothing to criticize about. Good job!
