Just to be difficult (why change the habits of a lifetime!) somewhere between #1 and #2 for me.
#2 is OK but possibly looks just a fraction on the tight side.

Yeah, I was torn between keeping the entire group of green leaves as a pleasant background and cropping tighter.

The entire wingspan on these little critters is 20-30mm and they flutter about a lot. They normally sit with wings closed so it's hard to get the Blue. The closed wing view was early morning when it was cool. The open laying on the ground with a bunch of those little flowers in front of me.
