Playing with the new adapter and a lens I haven't used very much.

Re: Christmas spread
I prefer the perspective of this image more than the perspective you've usually provided that involves the subject being parallel to the camera's sensor.
The image appears seriously underexposed to me, though I understand that it's possible that you went to great effort to display colors in the image that replicate the colors in the physical subject.

Re: Christmas spread
Thanks, everyone, for the comments.
Actually, this image has not had any PP done to it, it's a SOOC jpg.
It is very much a true depiction, color wise, of the bed spread. There was very flat, dull light coming in the window which is directly opposite the camera. The spread is on our bed instead of being hung as most of my other quilt shots are.
What really intrigued me about it was that when you look at the full size file you can count the stitches almost all the way front to back or top to bottom if you will. I used my TAP adapter with a Leica Summilux 50mm lens to make the picture with my Sony A7ii. The adapter hit the focus spot on IMO.
Glad you all like it.

Re: Christmas spread
Thank you Maurice, and thank your wife as well.
Here is our mantle in the family room.
She made all the cloth decorations you see.

Re: Christmas spread
Correct the tilt in that last image and then send it out as a Christmas card.

Re: Christmas spread
Well, OK then... spill the beans... what was the camera and lens combo you used that you had not before?
I agree with Mike, that last image would be great as a Christmas card!

Re: Christmas spread
Trev - It was the combo of my Sony A7ii+TAP+Summilux lens. I hadn't bothered to get the Summi out of the cupboard and put it on the A7ii since I got the camera. Guess I was having too much fun with my other lenses to do that. Since the TAP (TechArt Pro) adapter only comes in Leica M mount it was the logical choice. The Christmas card (thanks for the idea Mike) photo was taken with a Nikkor 50mm f1.4 LTM using a Leica LTM to M mount plus the TAP.
