When British weather is fine...
A couple of autumn views of the Welsh coast for a miserable January day.
St Justinian, Pembrokeshire, with St David's lifeboat station; Ramsey Island in the distance. This is now the (second) old lifeboat house here, having been replaced by a new slipway station just out of view to the left (incomplete when I took this) for a newer lifeboat design (too big to fit in the old shed). There are comparatively few slipway-launch stations, where the boat hits the sea at speed. (There is Youtube footage of St David's being launched).
The funny-looking vessel in the middle distance was used in the construction of the new station and by coincidence was just being towed away when I arrived.
Llangannog, Ceredigion
