    Mister the Poodle

Mister was turned into Hope for Paws Rescue by a homeless man in Los Angeles. Hope for Paws provided medical treatment and turned this little guy over to us in order to find him a new home after his surgery has healed. Mister, a miniature poodle about two years old, had his eye so infected that it could not be saved. However, he is healthy in all other respects and is just a darling and loving boy who appears to be house trained. His stitches will be removed in about nine days and they he will no longer need to wear the collar. However in the interim, he is very happy sitting on my lap!

As soon as he gets vet clearance we will find him a new home. By the way, we have found that one eyed dogs are very easily adoptable.

Yes, a very sad story but looks like a very happy ending. Keep up the great work and thanks from all dog lovers.

Such a cute little dude and very lucky despite loosing his eye. As long as his sense of smell is good he'll breeze along nicely.

Dogs adapt to disabilities both out of necessity and pride. Our Bouvier was three when she started limping. Well, one thing led to another and she was found to cancer of her elbow and ended up with an amputation. At the time we wondered if we were doing her any favors but two years later she is doing well.

I wish this little one eyed fellow well.
