Wow!
I am reminded that I myself have done the odd bit of restoration on images for friends and family. I know that the "tidying" up was appreciated, but I had never really considered how important it might be (potentialy)to the people involved.

I was moved, and more importantly, educated and a little shamed since I have to be honest and admit that I was/am guilty of stereotyping professional retouchers. That has changed forever.

After viewing this I don't think it can be viewed without being moved by it. What a wonderful work this was, not only in the results but in the many lives that were touched by it. Thank you for sharing.
