UK green bug ID?

I think the flower is queen annes lace but I don't know the insect

This is a Thick-kneed Beetle, probably Oedamera nobilis. Quite obvious really if you look at the hind legs.

It is an obvious name but I like to get common and scientific names straight when I can.

Also called Swollen-thighed Beetles; previously known as Thick-legged Flower Beetle. Only the males have those swollen hind legs.

Clearly a monosexual species. No female would accept such monikers.
