Wine made from the Barbera grape species is a red wine especially good when paired with any tomato-based food. If you like Chianti or any other wine made primarily from the Sangiovese grape species, you'll almost assuredly enjoy a Barbera; though a Barbera is usually a little lighter than a Sangiovese, the two wines are interchangeable when pairing with food.
This particular Barbera is a favorite of mine. Though it is relatively expensive for a Barbera, it is still only medium-priced in the context of all wine offerings.
This wine brand is the only one I've noticed that displays the net volume content in an embossed area of the bottle. If you think it's difficult to read the indication, 3/4 LITRE, this is one time I'll ask that you not blame the photographer. In fact, I'm extremely proud that I was able to light the embossed area so it is at least vaguely legible. It's actually a lot easier to read that information when displayed in this photo than when viewing the bottle under normal lighting conditions whether indoors or outdoors.
EDIT: See Dan's post below, which inexplicably displays the image.

Setup
The tabletop is transparent glass and the background is black velvet filling the frame no more and no less. The lower part of the background is photographed through the transparent tabletop. A large circular was diffuser behind the background. A medium continuous-light lamp was behind the diffuser shinging toward the subject and camera. Two small continuous-light lamps were above the bottle on the left and right sides. White cards on the left and right sides reflected the light from the small lamp on the opposite side onto the sides of the bottle. Each card also cast a very slight shadow onto the label to help define its shape by interrupting the light from the small lamp on the same side. (Not easy to explain the dual functions of the white cards; I hope that makes sense!) Another reflector handheld above the bottle added the reflection to the embossed circular area on the shoulder and defined the indication that the bottle is "3/4 LITRE."
