    Pretty in Pink

Trying to see what tinypic does. I am uploading a new picture of a guy whispering something to my wife at the local animal shelter.

What I see as a small picture in the upload box is just a thumbnail for verification that the file is up.

Once the image is posted I see an image in the post which gets larger when I click on it.

All of this seems perfectly normal to me.

Nice bird and nice image. Given that nature never does anything by accident, you have to wonder where pink fits into the equation.

What can I say? Although I like the first shot for what it is and all that, I kinda like the second one as it is more on the personal side...thanks for the morning smile...

As in the Flamingo, the pink colour comes from its food. This begs the question: why does the Roseate Spoonbil move the pink pigment into its feathers, but the European spoonbill does not? Possibly it is a species recognition phenomenon.
