    Ah the nature of art! The thing is that each treatment works in its own way depending on what the photo does for you. Personally I found the original image evocative because when I was a child I visited my ancient great aunt: a child of the 19thCentury, who lived much as she always had. She had a similar arrangement and the dim conditions and shallowness of light that Rita captured took me back there immediately...
