Electric Train Generating Depot - circa 1912

My photo pal and I shot this abandoned Depot this past Sat. I had no idea there were electric trains in Oregon a hundred years ago. If you are interested here's a short article. http://hh-today.com/trashed-relic-of...story-exposed/

TinyPic is not letting me upload anymore images --- so I will post this and then try again. (this is my second attempt in the past hour)
An interesting photo and story in the link. There was a similar railway boom in Canada about the same time. Excessive business optimism led to the construction of railways that went defunct relatively quickly.

Thanks Bruce. At least the rails are still in use on this line. ~15 miles isn't far to go before recharging!

Thanks John. I added a couple more this morning as Tinypics seems to be working fine. We did some light painting here too but not a single keeper for me.

especially like #3 with the larger view of the tagger's "canvas" I might bring up some of the shadows toward the top. These are terrific work.

Thanks Kris. I decided to leave the opposite corners dark but I think a bit more light on the upper left could work well. Thanks for that. It's only an hour and 15 minutes from PDX and the back road drive is absolutely beautiful. It was pretty nasty in there but no drug paraphernalia and no one bothered us. There is a large 'canvas' in process right now so it will be different if I go back again.

I kinda like #2 Susan...t'would be nicer if you remove that glaring part at the left hand side. I like #1 too as it gives me an idea of where you were.

I don't mind that yellow window sill for some reason but I also had worked up one without. See what you think.

Thank you for taking the time to indulge me. I like this one better because it is neater. I scrolled up to see the difference quicker and I see what you must have seen on the other one but I may be wrong...Both are nice but I still like this edited one better. Thanks again.
