It looks like a quality sRGB screen, so you could definitely look at it. It comes with Spectraview, so that tells me you can get accurate profiling and calibration. To me the fatal flaw is that it is sRGB only. I would definitely not consider it because of that limitation (AdobeRGB displays ~30% more colours).
I bought the highly regarded BenQ SW2700PT last week, because it does 99% AdobeRGB, but is "only" 2.5K.
Yes, the BenQ does look good.
Perhaps you have not heard that the CIA can create monitoring devices from monitors. So are you watching the display or is the display watching you?
Update: Bought the NEC EA275UHD. The best monitor I have ever owned at a reasonable price. Also calibrated it with Spyder 5 Pro in Windows 10. About 98% of sRGB and colors look identical on my iPad and the NEC monitor. Very crisp and clean look. High contrast. Three USB ports where I have mouse and keyboard so switching computers is very easy.
congrats
Unless you have calibrated and profiled your iPad and use a colour managed viewer, this is unlikely to be correct. Most of the iPad apps are NOT colour managed.
I know the x-Rite hardware has an iPad / iPhone app / viewer that supports this, I'm not sure that DataColor has this available. After doing so with my iPad, my computer screen and iPad are close. They definitely were not before I calibrated and profiled the iPad and I was a bit surprised (well, not really) how far off it was.
