    Juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk

I have been the fortunate recipient of a juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk who seems to have taken up residence in a readily accessible location and I have taken full advantage of his generous posing and actions. This morning, unconsciously, I began to whistle Bohemian Rhapsody and he keyed in on me and when I quit, he whistled back and (you'll see it in one shot of strolling through the high pines) he walked back and forth on a pine limb in a somewhat agitated manner, only stopping when I began whistling again. I am not sure I've ever had that kind of rapport with a wild bird, much less a wild raptor.

Thanks all for the generous comments. I think this boy has moved on to greener pastures as He's not shown up for the last few days. So enjoyed his visit, though.

Very nice series Chris. I especially like numbers 5, 7 and 8 where you were able to isolate the bird and reduce background noise.
