    John,
I'm unclear on what story you intended this shot to tell.

    Robert,

It's the aftermath of a car chase. The damaged car is in the sunlit area.

Thanks for the clarification, John. I was going to say one car multiple pieces.

That is one hell of a car chase...I hope everyone is safe. I wonder who pays for the damage to that havoc???

    Hi Izzie,

The driver of the stolen car survived, no citizens or police officers were hurt. I think the city will have to cover the cost. Thanks for viewing.

Fortunately it happened in front of a pharmacy.

As was I...unless it was John's penchant for pretty young ladies.

    Hi William,

Just trying to capture the aftermath of the crash, however I did use this photograph in another discussion on the use of DSLRs for street photography and how the size of the camera can sometimes prevent you from getting an in the moment shot. The young lady to the left saw me with my camera but was so fixated on the vehicle she ignored me and crossed directly into my line of sight. Quite a few of the other spectators noticed my camera but they also chose to get to the front of the line.

John, Bill and I have a friend who do that too -- cross in front of my camera I mean -- and usually she is drunk. True story.

    Izzie,

I sometimes think such people just want to be a star.

    John,
Just curious why you didn't get closer, and wait for your view to be unobstructed?
I had no idea what you were trying to show until you explained it.

    Robert,
I did get some closer shots but I wanted to capture the path of damage as shown here.
