Driftwood And The Whitefish Point, Michigan Lighthouse
In a trip taken a few weeks after our visit to Marblehead, Ohio, we headed to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and started at Whitefish Point. It has what can be called a "contemporary" lighthouse by "lighthouse standards". The beach and breakwater area at the point is a depository for all manner of driftwood, and it provided a foreground for a slightly different perspective of the lighthouse.
The image was taken using Ektrachrome 100 Professional, Mamiya 645 Super, and a 45mm lens. The image was scanned to digital with an Epson V850, using VueScan software.
