    Nice textures on both, is that the frond at the bottom; a bit too parallel as it cuts into the dynamic of the upper portion.

    Not a problem. I see a placid green lake with an other world landscape in the bg.

    The bottom is the bamboo. As I mentioned above I see it as a lake with an other world landscape so for me the parallel is natural and needed. However it just may be I missed on this shot.

    I like the Fronds and I see your thought about a lake, etc. It may have worked better for me if the fronds had been more tiny so that it looked like they were off in a distance a bit. Looking over the "lake" and seeing them far off? Also the "lake's edge" maybe should be not quite so severe? Have a little curve in it?

    Of course this is how I imagine it, not necessarily how you'd see it! <grin>

    I do like your creativity and your photo work! Always interesting to see!
