Re: Old Tractors
One more. This guy lives about 3 miles from me. I have never seen anyone there otherwise I would ask for permission to walk the property with my camera. I took this photo from the road and it doesn't do justice to the number of old tractors he has.

Re: Old Tractors
I like #1 -- it looks sturdier...and really old. I wonder if he buys them and repair them for sale or something??

Re: Old Tractors
Izzie, these things last forever. There are more old tractors in operation than there are old cars in working order. Some of these machines are still going strong after 50 years. They have diesel engines that last forever and their design is very simple. The two in the second picture were not there two weeks ago. The ones in the "graveyard" as I call it have been there a while. I want to find out more about them but the guy is never there. I don't want to take a stroll through his property uninvited so I guess I will just wait until I run into him (or her).

Re: Old Tractors
Very cool series. I see a lot of old rusted out tractors in the Valley, and have always wanted to take a stab at photographing them.
Very nice work
