Did not do this right, obviously... but it was still a fun moon last night.

Will make sure of tripod use and external shutter speed control next time. Still learning how to do more of the complex things that would make something like this work.

You know what will work? -- add a landscape at the bottom even if it is a separate one -- to composite this moon with. Just a thought...Sssshhhh...this is between you and me and 10,000 others.

Thanks and yes the image is a bit dull with just the moon. If I were in a different spot, I would have captured the water or something else

So now, you can still use this scene as a background for some night landscape shots as part of the composite. Never waste a good shot.
