One of the Pollenia species. Also known as Cluster Flies because they gather together in clusters at sunny spots.

    Good fine detail.

Very nice and sharp. I'very heard of cluster flies, but never knowingly seen one.

Good that it sat on the side of your house instead of inside it. To me, as summer is almost here, it is either the flies or the dogs going inside the house. Very nice shot, James, even if I really do not like flies. (who does?)
