And the Robber fly came back the very next day

A few days ago the people we have building our fence broke off the branch the Robber Flies like to perch on. Yesterday we cut a dead branch, dug a hole, inserted said branch, poured a little cement and waited.
    They're back!

There must be something in that plant that the Robber fly wanted very much to land on...lucky you! Sometimes, we need to help them to appreciate their beauty in some ways.

It's the dead branch of a rambotan tree and there are a fair number of wee beasties that move along it.

Brian, the 16 x 9 does not do the robber due credit in this instance I think. That, however is only my opinion.

Why it is ashamed to show its face to you?

I tried square and squarish but I do like the bg and it just didn't look as good with less of it. At least to me.

The original branch was broken off. We put up a new dead branch. Maybe he thinks I'll charge him rent?

I changed nothing but the framing. It may come down to personal taste.
