Very impressive scene
I don't have to imagine that you had a wonderful trip because your photo proves that you did.
I'm so glad that you were able to enjoy Malvasia, especially when it is made in the Istrian peninsula, that I'm downright envious! My experiences of drinking it several times while vacationing in Croatia is that it is a delightfully elegant, sophisticated wine. I've never seen it exported to America, probably because the peninsula is so small that the entire wine production might be sold in Europe. Though malvasia used to be one of the two white wine grape species used in Chianti (the other one being Trebbiano), it is rarely used now and I've read that it is actually prohibited in Chianto Classico, which is by far the largest production of Chianti.
I'm also jealous because I've never drunk Posip.
Very nice image Dave I would crop about 1/3 of the sky for a better look as the empty sky doesn't add very much to the image.
I agree with Binnur on both that it is a lovely photo and that it would benefit from some cropping of the sky.
Very nice. I've never been to Croatia, but have Slovenia, which is another beautiful country (hubby's mom born in Slovenia).
Now that is what I call an edit...I like the last one best.
That's a very impressive travel photo shoot.
Richard,
The sky in your version looks very unnatural to me and, thus, out of place in an image that otherwise looks quite natural.
