The light and the sort of day that it was made me think in terms of some tone mapping for this one but in the end I made it into a full HDR. I was attracted initially by the vehicle as foreground interest but incidentally, I noticed that incongruously, there were some matronly passengers chatting in the rear whilst the chauffer seemed to be making out with someone in the front seats. Could be mistaken but..........

Nice composition and the HDR was implemented well.

The HDR effect has worked well on the sky, including a distant gull, but it seems to have created a rather 'harsh' appearance to sea and shoreline which appears to be a bit unnatural looking to me.

I like the image JohnI agree with Geoff about the harsh appearance of the sea and the shoreline but IMO it goes well with the old beautiful car. I would like to see just a little bit more space on the left though as the car looks very close to the frame.

This is such a nice composition. Nice touch with the HDR. The sea may be a bit harsh but doesn't distract for me. A bit more on the left as Binnur points out would be nice if possible. I zoomed in and peeked - I think it may be a whisper in his ear. ;-) Like it very much John.

Not much I can do about the sea but HDR (to this extent) is by definition representative art. Not sure about the "art" bit but that's what I was after here. The crop is unfortunate but sadly, there was car in the next slot and I didn't think cloning was an option. So I excluded it in taking the shot.

John, this is one of the best HDR images I have seen. I am not a fan of HDR but this image does not hide it as I have seen some photographers tries to do for some reason. This image is HDR loud and clear and it works for me.

You have a vivid imagination, John...but it is OK. Sometimes, what we see or hear is not really what it seems. The HDR works for me too. I like the car though...

Thank you Ole. Nine times out of ten, I'm not a fan myself believe it or not. The subject has to be right. Judging that though, for me, is pure trial and error.
