This is one of Australia's smallest possums. About the size of a mouse and normally nocturnal so I was lucky to see it in the late afternoon. Its normal food source in nectar but in times of short supply it supplements its diet with insects and grubs. The light was fading hence F5.6 ISO 1600 and shutter between 1/40 and 1/50 Sec, hand held (thank heaven for IS).
