Nice one! This composition would be interesting with a long exposure and completely smooth water.

Thanks Arno. Unfortunately I did not have my tripod. In fact I am now working without a tripod, as my car was broken into a few weeks ago and my tripod was stolen But I like your comment; I agree it would look great!

I like the idea of the Confederation Park scene but a pity about the over exposed loss of detail on the left side. Would a slight crop, or a mix of crop and clone, manage to reduce that area where the foliage is possibly a little on the dark side anyway? Good sky colour and cloud detail.

Some pics from my visit to Elora Gorge last week.

Entrance to a private estate at the top of the gorge. The estate is surrounded by this high wall. Their view of the gorge must be spectacular!

Regarding Pics in post #26 and #27

I like them all. I was going to suggest that you lighten them up a bit and then realized that my computer screen was at fault. It helps to increase the brightness of it when looking at pics! <LOL>

In #26, these always encourage me. I'd like to be out on the water enjoying the sunset! For me, you've captured the mood perfectly!

#27 wants to invite me through the gate! What is on the other side? I'd like to see.
And too, in the last pic of the river leading to the falls, how much of a drop is it? Will the view be good from the Inn? There is a lot of "story" to this pic. I hope that when the Inn is completed, it complements the landscape rather than detract from it.

As the river flows into the gorge it goes into a cascade and falls, I think, 15 meters.

So when you go back to see if you can slip through that gate <tee hee>, you might also go into the inn and get a great pic of the falls!

Hi Joe ~ You've been to some interesting and pretty places! I considered why it is named Tiffany Falls? Does it eventually go over a ledge of some sort and your pics are at the beginning of it?
I like how you've captured the flow of the water. It still looks like water but you set the speed slow enough to indicate the water is moving! Perfect!
I only see 2 of the 3 of them. Flickr is saying the 3rd one is no longer available.

The first one of the Confederation Park series is also not showing for me. You captured the beauty of the Park perfectly in the last one (ducks swimming past a partially submerged tree). Spot on in my estimation!
