    My first honest 1:1 macro

    As some may recall M'Lady bought me a train set for Christmas. I set things up, moving the train and the tripod till I got an in focus 1x1. To get rid of the bar in the bg I would have had to rip it off the engine.

    Congrats, as you can see 1:1 magnification requires a bit more effort on your part to get entire object in focus. Sometimes the brain adjusts what our eyes actually sees and sometimes it distracts from the overall effect.

    I'm working on the flowers. Posted a nearly true macro of a lemon blossom. Maybe a 1x.85?
