LadyBird Beetle provided practice and entertainment

I was considering what to practice on and voila, there was a Ladybird beetle by my computer glasses snuffing on some piece of debris or other. (Never know what may be found on my computer desk - )
These were taken using f/2.8 - 1/200ss - various ISOs. I let the camera pick this for my experiment.
It is the small things that give us pleasure!

Nice series, bug looks like it's levitating in a few of the frames.

Hi John - Definitely a practice session but still lots of fun to see the results and in this case put together a story. And I see looking at these, that there is room for improvement! I missed the shot where the bug was walking up-side-down on the "high wire". <lol>

It was shots like these (and very good shots they are) that got me wanting a macro lens

Hi Nandakumar - These little creatures like to hide inside our home during the winter months. We never see them until spring is approaching. Then they show themselves in all sorts of places. (sigh) We will sweep them up and release them outside when there are too many of them.

I am pleased you liked the series of photos! Thanks for commenting!
