This is a very impressive image. My only, perhaps, negative comment is that it looks somehow overprocessed. Almost like a digitally made scene. It would look great printed as big as possible, IMO.

It is as Oscar has said, quite impressive indeed, the perspective & framing have me imagining all sorts of gatherings (maybe witches) meeting there in secret.
Perhaps I’ve read Macbeth too many times!
I see Oscar’s point & all I can suggest is to maybe soften, lessen the transparency of the light rays coming in, maybe they are just too perfect and the ‘spotlight effect’ is there naturally framed by the shadows.
Let the viewer see them in their minds eye, due to the effect that they have created, sort of one less element in the scene perhaps.

This is just gorgeous. I first saw it late last night but had to come back for another look this morning.

Yes, it looks processed but not over-processed, what you've achieved here is stunning. Maybe because it looks a bit magical and other worldy we can be a bit more forgiving of the processing, I don't know, but I love it.

I bet it would also be beautiful in more natural form: not better, not worse, just different.

It's gorgeous. I'd have it on the wall.

Andy - this is certainly a very nice scene with the light rays coming through the trees and highlighting the pool.

To my eyes, it definitely looks overprocessed and pushed in the wrong direction. I'm not sure how you approached it or what tools you used, but I think you would get a much stronger image if you handled this scene with a lighter touch and handled the lighting issues with local adjustment tools, rather than global ones.

Initially this seemed a bit 'flat' around the shadow areas but that changes with the Lightbox view when all the subtle tints of the darker areas become apparent.

It's a lovely scene. The lower half(i.e.foreground) looks like a photo. The upper half/BG looks painterly. Overall an ethereal scene IMO. I like it.

I see the over processing too but I like it anyway. Maybe too much is good sometimes. :-)

I like it a lot. Maybe a tad over processed. I would like another image just a little less processed if that is possible.
    Cheers Ole
