    Primordial : live tethered Capture 1, macro polished abalone shell (colorful)

    Shot with my Sony Alpha a68 connected to my Tamron 90mm 272 and live tethered in Capture 1 Sony Pro. I used one incandescent desk lamp plus of course the natural ambience of the room.

    ISO 100 ~ Shutter Speed thirty sec. ~ F/16

    It took about an hour to find this shot. Starting with a magnifying glass to find what I wanted to shoot. Then a lot of minor and not so minor adjustments to tweak things. Time well spent if for no other reason than except for proofing and scaling I did no pp.

    The more I explore tethered shooting the more fun I have.

    Good exploration work, Brian. This image should really be viewed full-size in lytebox. It reminds me of stained glass.

    It does have a bit of a stained glass feeling to it.
