Nicely captured, timing a bit off as the lamppost extends from her shoulders. I was doing a similar study and relied on an older model camera's fps to capture sequence of subject's gait. Do you have any more from this series?
I think the concept and vision is bang on for this image. Love the idea.
I wonder if the sky has been over dramatised to the extent it is taking attention away from the main subject, the girl. And because it has been over-dramatised, everything going into the sky has halos around it.
And the girl - One step further forward and she would not have the pole coming out from the neck of her jacket.
A nice photo!
You could try to clone out part of the pole to make it appear to be behind the house like the one on the far left. I agree with Donald that the halos have to go. Otherwise a nice photo.
I have to agree with the others. The clouds are just so over the top that they detract from the rest of the image. As a general rule, once one sees halos, that is definitely a sign of having pushed an image too hard.
The other is what Henri Cartier-Bresson described as the "decisive moment". Had you held of pressing the shutter release for about a second longer, your subject would have cleared the pole and the image would have been a lot stronger.
