Trish and I used to travel to her Dad's vacation cabin near Mount Baker quite frequently when we lived in Vancouver in the 1970's. The transition from the most desirable real estate in British Columbia to conditions like Appalachia as soon you crossed the border, and got into the hills, was astounding. May not be quite the same 40 years later, although your image seems to support that not much has changed.
Hi Sharon,
Best to be careful wherever you go; especially if you are carrying a camera. In the rural south of the U.S. a stranger would be quick to be labeled a revenuer. Nice capture of the environ.
Nice work.
