I'm exploring different framing techniques. This was done with a Fibonacci Spiral.

    I first thought of modestness.

To be blunt: I'm at a point with my photography where I'm trying to get people to think and feel when they see my work. That you thought of modestness rather than inevitableness is ok with me. Plus I can see where the bowing figure hiding her charms and beauty is a reasonable thought coming from this shot.

    Good

Have you read Guy Tal's 'More Than a Rock'.

Best photography tutorial I've had for a long time ........... and there no mention of how you take photographs.

Not yet. About August 1 M'Lady and I shall be holding what used to be called a Mortgage Burning party. For the first time in our married life of 25 years we will be debt free. Then within reason, I get to spend a little more on photography. The books on the list.

That is the goal of most serious photographers. The emotional impact of the most challenging aspect of photography to master and in most cases it comes after the photographer has mastered the technical and organizational aspects of image making. The reason for this is simple; inappropriate technical and organizational choices in the image will detract the viewer and can degrade the emotional impact that an image has.

The best definition I have seen in quantifying emotional impact in an image are mood, impact, subject and imagination.
