    Well it certainly makes me want to run my fingers over the timber to feel the texture. The light and shadows add intrigue. I wonder if it would be even more inviting to the eye, if the branch ran more strongly along the diagonal from the bottom left corner?

    Thanks Trace. That is exactly what I did when I saw it. Well, not that particular branch as it was above my head but I embraced its mates. Running my hands over its ripples, it was like feeling the life force within.
