That being said, I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve with this blend of religious buildings and the way they have been decorated.

I am not trying to achieve anything Manfred. Just showing them as a group.
I am trying to make a collection of not 4 but 6, related to religiosity but I see now that these are not coherent...
I have to search for more photographs and find the suitable ones...

the small sculpture which should be about 30 cm tall is the representation of S. Francis of Assis or St. Antony...
I made this photograph inside a church in Chaves, Portugal.

I thought the written introduction sets the context really well, gently guiding the viewer's response to the images. There are some interesting juxtapositions within them.

He is quite fond of slow shutter speeds to blur the motion of people and uses the technique well so that the viewer is aware of the people but they do not attract attention away from other components of the image.

Jim is a very thoughtful person. He is a theoretical mathematician (BSc and MSc in math) and spent much of his career in R&D working in areas like computer network topology. He is not someone who has a classical art background.

He is quite fond of slow shutter speeds to blur the motion of people and uses the technique well so that the viewer is aware of the people but they do not attract attention away from other components of the image.

Jim is primarily a landscape photographer, so his tripod goes everywhere with him, so slow shutter speeds and good images simply go hand-in-hand with that tool.

Perhaps John, the 4 images lack coherence...
They are too different one from the other.
I must make a new collection using others I have.
