Ole - this looks like a "grab shot".
You saw something, put your camera to your eye and snapped the shot. It does not work and in fact grab shots rarely work unless the photographer got very, very lucky.
This shot is far too busy, your subject is not isolated, you've cut off feet, etc. etc.
The "secret" of getting a good shot is to see your shot in your "mind's eye", think about the composition, framing, camera settings, etc, and taking your time to get it right. Firing off a quick shot like this will not work very often.
You are absolutely correct. Tired child on dad's shoulder, other child on auto holding dad's hand, dad carrying a blue unicorn. This picture will be in my collection because it is funny and so human.
Cheers Ole
[QUOTE=mugge;730487]We were walking behind this father with his two children. I thought it was funny and I just snapped a shot. Just the one shot. There were too much going on after that. C&C most welcome.
I think it is funny as well. Lucky to even have enough time to get the camera out, turn it on, and shoot before they disappeared in the crowd. Thanks for posting.
