Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
Obviously some tricky exposures with those scenes but they all look good to me.

Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
Very interesting and photogenic bit of country. I was quite intrigued by the rock formations, amazing erosion (I assume) shapes

Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
When I see wonderful images like these (on this and other sites) I always wish the photographer would include just a bit of interesting and/or helpful information about what and/or where is the content of each photograph.
Cheers.

Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
Sorry MrB.
No1 is an Amarlyis that had just opened.
Nos.2 and 4 are of Polperro in Cornwall.
Nos. 3 and 5 are Bodmin Moor above Minions, Cornwall. No5 is called the Cheesering.
No.6 is Dartmoor from Combestone Tor.
No.7 is Venford Falls also on Dartmoor.

Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
A very nice thread. It only increases my hope to pay Cornwall a visit someday.
On this side of the pond, many people will associate views like #2 and #4 with Doc Martin.
I have suggestions for two of them. first, dehazing might improve #2. Second, some of the interesting details in #6 are not as prominent as they might be because they are dark. I would play around with lifting the shadows in some areas. Just to illustrate this, I did a very quick-and-dirty edit, selecting shadows using the select-by-color option in photoshop and both brightening them slightly and applying a bit of contrast with curve. Not very good, and probably too little of a change, but it shows the direction:

Re: Some recent shots around Cornwall.
Very ... er ... Cornish is the best description I can come up with. We have visited Cornwall a lot in the past and have fond memories of several of the places shown. It is nice to be reminded as we probably not see Cornwall again.
