    Tiny white flower

This is a 1:1 macro of a tiny white flower. I have no idea what it is called. It came in a potted arrangement that has been blooming for a couple of months.

    C & C welcomed as always.

A difficult subject for exposure so that has worked well.

However, the problem for me is the closest leaves are out of focus. I would have preferred to see them sharp and let the more distant leaves fade into softness. Always a tricky scene for focus depth unless you do some focus stacking with suitable software.

With no EXIF and not knowing the size of the sensor, how big was that "tiny" flower?

Here on the property, the ground gets a lot white flowers about 4mm across, at certain times of the year - I've often though about trying 1:1 macro but still, at ~16mm picture height, some cropping would be needed, unlike in your case.

    Thank you John.
Geoff - Thank you, Having out of focus areas in front of the main subject seems to be a matter of taste. Most of the time, I like the foreground to be as sharp as the main subject. In this case I made a deliberate choice to let it go soft to create a more "dreamy" feeling to the picture. Whether it worked or not is up for debate.

    Ted - Sorry for dropping the EXIF. Shot with an EOS 77D (sensor: 22.3 x 14.9 mm),6000 x 4000 pixels cropped to 5092 x 3394 pixels, EF-S 55-250 @ 55mm + 52mm of extension tubes, 1/5 sec @ f/16, ISO 400.
The visible portion of the flower is approximately 3/4 in. Thanks for looking
