Sitting on the kerb, texting, of cause
The image was taken hip high with my Fuji x100f. I liked the idea of her sitting there texting. The image was very busy and I had a lot of trouble cleaning up around her. I still like the image though. C&C welcome.

Overall this is one of the stronger images you have posted lately. It works quite well. The sign in the upper left hand corner is a bit distracting, but I suspect that you have handled it as well as possible, given that this is a street shot. The choice of B&W is quite effective.
A couple of suggestions from me for future shots like this one:
1. Get a bit lower when shooting. Most shots we see have the photographer shooting from a normal standing position. While it does work, the images made this way are not particularly unique and getting closer to eye level generally strengthens the shot.
2. Watch where you are cropping. The crop along the top of the image is a bit too tight. Generally having a closer crop at the bottom of the shot and a bit more space above the head works better than the crop here where there is a lot of space along the bottom edge and very little along the top.
Finally a thought on the PP work. There is a bit of a sheen of all around your subject, almost as if you burned down some areas and left others along. This is a bit distracting as well. Getting a more even background with few hot areas would give you a more effective image.
