Tomorrow is pack-up day for our flight home to Scotland. The photo record in CIC has been entirely wildlife/nature, and of course there have been lots of record shots to add to the family album. The last posts here from the trip are architectural (which for some reason go in the same CIC forum as nature and wildlife) taken on a visit to McKinney which is a 15 minute drive away.
The first is frankly not a very interesting shot in its own right, but if you like top quality meat to throw on the grill or to barbecue, then that's a different story. It's a of couple of vintage tractors that adorn the forecourt of the Local Yokel store in McKinney - I probably should have used a shot of their Wagu steaks but preferred to eat them.
The next is "Aunt Abigail's Antiques". I don't know if there is indeed a store on the other side - but loved the wall and the challenge of capturing the detail while retaining its washed-out, crumbling, faded nature.
And finally, 'bye for now to the USA, with this from the old First National Bank building, also in historic down town McKinney.
