Week 32--Mountain Meadow---Hiking, not much else this week so week 32 is not in my usual vein--but it offered a chance to use a few PP approaches I have been wanting to try. Wildflowers in the Cascades are wonderful this year.

Week 33, really does it for me, would love to see the same composition at dusk but probably not as safe a time to photograph.

#33 is looking "crunchy", i.e. over-processed. I suspect you'll get a more pleasing image by dialing things back just a bit.

Now that I look at #32, I have the same reaction as well and these are image that are fairly small.

A good image; a theme well suited for portrait mode....

Re: 33 looking crunchy--I agree--this was after I broke my Coolpix and is taken with my Pixel 2. I limited the image size in post because at normal size it was really not good! 32 was taken with my coolpix and was a significant crop.

Soon I will have a new pocket camera and will, hopefully, not see this issue as often

A small amount of blur and possible lowering the contrast as well will reduce the "crunchiness" in an image. It's something I use in my own workflow if I get too aggressive in my post-processing.

Week 35--Chairs--This week has been dominated by my husband's knee surgery (2nd one). So of course I took my camera to the hospital and prowled around while he was under the knife. Both of us were successful!

I am glad you husband's treatment went well, Judith.

In an ideal world the wood might have a little more grain, but this is a well seen image with excellent colour.

Nicely seen and captured Judith. A classic example of repeating patterns.

Hopefully your husband's knee surgery recovery goes well/

Week 36, nicely framed and the caption got a chuckle as a reminder of the Rowan Atkinson show "Thin Blue Line", although nothing in the image reflects anything to do with the show's plot.

My titles often have cultural references but I had forgotten about that show. Thanks for the reminder.
