    nice shot. I'm no expert, but I don't think that's a daddy long legs. The family you have listed is orb-weaver spiders, which is what this one looks like to me. Same class and order, but different family. But again, I'm an amateur.

    Sorry, 1 should have made it more clear that the Daddy Long-legs was the lunch, not the spider. Going to edit now ...

    Fine image; i would like to fill the white strip with the main background color, so that the glow of white does not distract from enjoying the image...

    A very good idea. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to do that kind of adjustment because I don't know how to do complicated layers and masking. I do have the GIMP but still have no idea how to use much of it. Sad but true.
