Variations on a colour theme
We just spent a few days in Port Fairy Victoria to escape the terrible smoke haze that has engulfed Melbourne.
As the title indicate I really liked the various colours and therefore C&C most welcome.

Re: Variations on a colour theme
This is the kind of scenery, i very much enjoy...another possibility i would explore is to trim out and present the middle portion as a pano...

I agree with Nandakumar's view; there is too much sand and sky that do not add to the composition. A 2:1 or 3:1 crop would be a stronger image.

Re: Variations on a colour theme
I agree with Nandakumar and Manfred, the colours are pleasing, it is a nice scene, but there is a lack of foreground interest. Also landscapes tend to work best either predominantly sky or predominantly land/sea. Horizon at half way is neither one nor the other.
Suggest you crop to a pano but then you lose the most interesting part of the sky, so perhaps crop with the horizon at 1/3 from the top or even nearer to the top as there is more interest in the sea/beach than in the part of the sky near the horizon.
If your photoshop skills permit, it would be even nicer to replace the lower part of the sky with the interesting bit at the top of the frame.

Re: Variations on a colour theme
Now it has come out to be a very good sea-scape
