    Thunderbirds

Air Force Thunderbirds fly-by to honor medical personnel over Escondido. California...

    Thunderbirds

I was in the wrong position to catch this shot. According to the map in the newspaper, I thought that they were going to fly from one direction but they came in from another direction.

I was all set to include the hospital they were honoring so I was at 70mm... Suddenly, my wife pointed in back of me and there they were. I was just able to turn and grab a quick shot. Nothing like what I wanted...

However, it was very nice to get out and shoot, even if the result was not exactly as I wanted.

At least you got to see the fly-past, in a very worthy cause.

Several times i select and edit some image for TIBM and before posting find the subject has been already answered. So i think one may post additional image on the same theme, without proposing a new theme, as TIBM has already been suggested; Trev, is that OK?

Good point. That happened to me:- while responding to one of yours, someone else posted quicker than me - I deleted mine to avoid any confusion but didn't like to!

We could even say "Alternative response to xxxx, no TIBM" ...

I decided that I needed (wanted) a manual for the A6600 that I could easily carry with me for instant reference to my A6600. After shooting the above shot, I realized that I had the EVF brightness at "manual" and that it was too dark to easily view y image,

I downloaded a Kindle edition of Dave Bush's Guide to the A6600 https://smile.amazon.com/Buschs-ILCE...al-text&sr=1-1

This is a full fledged and easy to use manual for the A6600.

I have a small kindle reader which weighs next to nothing. I can carry it in a pocket of my photo vest or my camera bag and always have a reference for when I forget how to accomplish something with that camera.

An added benefit is that I always have several other books available to read on my Kindle reader and when I am killing time waiting for some acion to develop, I have an enjoyable way to pass that time.

I think this is a good suggestion and would also suggest that you echo the pre-posted TIBM, e.g. if the post that got in ahead says TIBM = OCEAN LINER, then modify your post to repeat that, so we don't get divergent streams.

    HOWZTAT?

So, like, "Alternative response to TIBM = OCEAN LINER but no TIBM here" ?
